Applicants must have good organizational skills and be able to maintain confidentiality.
The position includes the following job duties:
Records employee information such as personal data, benefits, tax data, attendance, and performance reviews or evaluations.
Compiles data from personnel records and prepares reports.
Takes an active role in recruitment efforts.
Assists with the creation of a recruiting and interview plan for each open position.
Researches and implements new sources of candidate recruiting.
Attends job fairs for recruitment and company recognition.
Processes employment applications.
Interviews and tests applicants to fill vacant positions.
Plans and conducts new employee orientation.
Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
Assists with employee training on a variety of company procedures.
Assists with the administration of benefit programs such as life, health, dental and disability insurances, PTO, leaves of absence, and employee assistance.
Keeps records of benefit plan participation, personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations, and employee statistics for government reporting.
Organizes and/or coordinates various company social/recreational activities including employee recognition awards, employee outings, etc.
