Job OverviewThe Manager of Instruction Design is part of the Rightworks Academy team.
This person's primary role is managing a team of designers responsible for the educational content and tools within the Rightworks Academy.
Your expertise in instructional design will be instrumental in creating learning modules, tutorials, and other educational resources that cater to a diverse range of users, from novices to advanced practitioners in the accounting field.
You will also be responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of our training programs, incorporating user feedback, and staying abreast of the latest trends in e-learning and instructional design.
ResponsibilitiesLead and manage a team of instructional designers, ensuring high-quality output and adherence to timelines.
Apply instructional design theories and practices to create engaging and effective learning materials, including online courses, certifications, and interactive modules.
Design and develop comprehensive training curricula tailored to the needs of various users of the accounting software.
Implement evaluation tools to assess the effectiveness of the training programs and incorporate feedback for continuous improvement.
Identify learning gaps and future training needs and manage the curriculum design to facilitate meeting those needs.
Collaborate with various stakeholders, including product managers, customer service teams and subject matter experts, to ensure that training materials align with product updates and user needs.
Stay updated with the latest trends in instructional design, e-learning technologies, and the accounting industry to keep the Academy relevant and effective.
Lead the strategy of new resources, learning opportunities, internal processes and technologies within the Rightworks Academy Learning Platform as it relates to education and instruction for members and the Rightworks corporate strategy.
Requirements5 years of experience in instructional design, preferably in the software or accounting industry.
Experience in managing a team is preferred.
Proficiency in instructional design software, LMS (Learning Management Systems), and an understanding of software development principles.
Proficiency in using content design tools (i.
e.
Vyond, Articulate, Photoshop, etc.
) to develop engaging and interactive content.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey and simplify complex concepts.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of the accounting industry and its practices is highly beneficial.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
