Job Duties
Manages the delivery of Customer First Service Excellence
Responsible for the administration of sales, service, operational efficiency, risk applications, internal control and HR management activities to meet bank objectives for the branch.
Develops a culture within the branch in which quality and continuous improvement on all performance accountabilities are understood and utilized by all employees
Ensures the team is focused on the acquisition of new business and personal relationships and the retention and expansion of existing relationships
Reports to the Retail District Executive.
Analyzes branch expenses and implements strategies to reduce overhead
Directs the development, implementation and use of productive sales strategies and techniques, generating additional bank business through any mean or channel provided by Santander Bank
Focuses on increasing Santander Bank products and services, sales, number of clients, its business relation with the bank and always following the established policy and procedures
Is responsible for managing branches Tier 3 or 4, usually less than 5 FTE Team Members, and ensuring that they and the branch meet or exceed their goals
Manages, coaches, directs and motivates every branch team member to promote and maximize sales opportunities. Oversees CCG/BCG tool and manages employees sales initiative
On the SME side, focuses on companies with revenues less than $3.0 Million, performing significant calling activity on existing SME customers, prospects and Centers of Influence, to develop new business and to retain or expand existing business
Opens new accounts, takes loan applications and closes loans obtaining
and analyzing necessary personal financial data, credit reports, appraisals, flood certifications and lock-in rates and following the risk policy and procedures of Santander Bank
Participates in branch functions and community activities to promote Banks image and growth ensuring that Santander Bank maintains a strong local presence
Takes responsibility for delivering Customer First Service Excellence which meets and exceeds the customers expectations
Qualifications
HS Graduate or Equivalent
Experience - Between 1 and 5 Years
Proven track record of excellent sales management in a financial service
Broad general education with financial and commercial lending experience
Ability to address small groups of people in order to effectively sell bank services
Proven leadership quality with strong ability to supervise and instruct
Must be familiar with the respective community
Proven communication skills, math skills and proven ability to meet deadlines and branch goals.
Strong PC skills including: Word, Excel,
Access, PowerPoint and Internet
Very Strong Business to Business Selling skills and advanced knowledge
f all Retail and Small business products and services in SME credit.
