Job Summary:
The Manager of Genuine Neighborhood Shoppes(GNS), independently owned and operated Life is good Brand Stores managed through the Wholesale Business Unit, will report to the General Manager of Wholesale. The Manager of GNS will partner with and support the Wholesale management team and the Life is good Leadership Team on all issues regarding the strategic direction of Life is good Genuine Neighborhood Shoppes (GNS). This individual, working with our independent field sales team, is accountable for the oversight and management of all aspects of Life is goods relationship with the 70 store GNS community including; insuring GNS retail presence is consistent with the vision, mission, and strategy of the Life is good brand, working closely with GNS owner operators on meeting and exceeding their annual sales and margin plans, achieving and exceeding annual Life is good GNS sales and margin plans, providing clear and consistent communication internally and externally to and from GNS owners, and evaluating and executing new potential GNS partnerships.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Bring to life the Life is good brand vision at retail through our independent Genuine
Neighborhood Shoppes (GNS).
Deliver sales and margin results for GNS owners that result in store revenue growth and
expansion.
Establish, achieve, and exceed Life is good annual sales and margin plans for GNS Stores.
Develop a Brand Manual for GNS to insure consistent brand look and feel and insure that the depth
of the LIG message is communicated clearly at every store location.
Deliver strong brand merchandising solutions to GNS that provide consistent and relevant LIG
brand messaging in-store and optimize GNS retail performance.
Provide strategic leadership, planning, and execution of programs and initiatives to serve and
enhance current and future GNS.
Train and inspire GNS owners and store personnel to exhibit Life is good Superpowers in their
store every day.
Insure that the Positive Purpose of Life is good and the work of Life is good Playmakers is
understood and supported by GNS owner operators.
Provide 3X annual training on brand message, seasonal product, and key brand initiatives to all
GNS owner operators.
Build strong partnerships with GNS owner operators, Field Sales Reps, and key internal
stakeholders to deliver strategic initiatives for GNS that accelerate retail turn and increase
GNS sales and profitability.
create a standard procedure for gathering GNS retail sales data and utilize this data to conduct;
trend analysis, statistical and historical reports and annual planning to determine root cause
analysis of current business conditions and identify and create metric driven solutions that
improve process and performance.
Create and execute a measurable marketing calendar that insures GNS owners implement and execute
key Life is good marketing and in-store initiatives and report monthly on KPIs against the
marketing efforts.
Plan and lead quarterly meetings to update LIG Wholesale Management and Leadership teams of
developing trends or issues related to GNS performance and recommend solutions and action plans
to execute in a collaborative manner.
Act as the key communication link between GNS owner operators and LIG Sales, Product and
Marketing on all relevant information pertaining to the GNS business and build collaborative
solutions to achieve GNS sales and margin objectives and brand priorities.
Act as GNS liaison to Life is good E-Commerce Direct to Consumer business Unit to insure brand
consistency and clear communication of all Direct to Consumer activities across channels.
Implement and execute a clear and cohesive plan for GNS Product Customization projects that
streamlines internal Life is good effort while maximizing retail sales opportunities for GNS.
Plan, develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for the opening of new GNS locations;
including market evaluation, site selection, owner qualification, and sales planning.
Plan, coordinate, and implement all GNS Fundraising activity for the Life is good Kids Foundation.
Experience and qualifications:
Bachelors degree preferred
Minimum of 5 years experience in Retail Management, with an emphasis on buying, planning and
merchandising, preferably at a company with an externally communicated social mission and strong
core values.
Leadership experience in a retail environment necessary, management of independently owned and
operated stores preferred.
Strategic thinking and cross functional business awareness and experience working in a multi-
channel business environment.
Retail math, forecasting, trend analysis skills and the ability to react to opportunities that
research exposes.
Adaptability, ability to build cross functional relationships, leadership, teamwork and
communication skills is necessary.
Customer focused, ability to take initiative and problem solving skills are necessary.
Past success in delivering strong results in a similar management position is a requirement.
Excellent communications skills with an ability to develop and deliver presentations to large
audiences.
Ability to travel, 30-40% of the role will be in market.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
