Entry level Software Engineer

Entry level position for talented software engineers in a forward looking company where technical excellence is highly valued. The Software Engineer will apply her or his skills to developing high-quality real-time embedded software for fielded electronics platforms.
New hires will be exposed to the full software life-cycle from requirements development through integration and testing, as part of our standard rotation program for college graduates. You can expect to rotate to a new program, site, Business Area or program phase on an approximately annual basis for the first few years of your career, to gain breadth in your experience.
Duties include coding and testing moderately complex software programs and assisting in other software engineering activities such as integration testing, algorithm & data analysis and software troubleshooting under the supervision of a lead engineer.
Required Skills and Education
Required Education: Bachelor Degree and 0
years of experience
- 4 year degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, ECS (Electrical and Computer Science), or other Scientific degree with strong software engineering content
- Knowledge of higher level programming languages, good communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
- Must be a US Citizen
Preferred Skills and Education
- Proficient in C, C++, C#, Java, Python, Real-time embedded development, Object Oriented Design/Development, Windows/Unix/Linux Operating Systems
- GPA of 3.0 or higher is strongly preferred
